Off the
beaten track in Northern Thailand
We offer individual customized trips. Our customers
are not bound by a limited set of "tourist
attractions", but can explore the whole up-country,
including the most remote (but so beautiful) places
- national parks in Thailand, tranquil temples,
great rivers, waterfalls, large caves in Thailand.
Just choose a trip which you like most and book it.
If you feel that something must be included or
excluded in your trip, let us know - we can adjust
itinerary to fit your interests. Only few Chiang Mai
travel agents can offer you such flexibility.
All trips start and finish in Chiang Mai. We pick
you up at the airport or your hotel at the arranged
time. After the trip we can drive you to any place
in Chiang Mai. |
Doi
Suthep Temple trip
Doi Suthep is the
mountain above Chiang Mai. On the way to the
top, we will visit one of the most beautiful
temples - Doi Suthep Temple
Chiang Mai (other name is Wat
Phra That Doi Suthep Chiang Mai).
We also visit Bhubing Palace,
famous for its exotic and well-maintained
gardens. On the top of the mountain, in Doi Pui National
park, you can enjoy breathtaking view
on the whole valley.
We finally visit a tranquil quiet temple which
is usually overlooked by tourists.
There are 5 viewpoints on this trip, all giving
you a great view on the city and surroundings.

The
highest Thai Mountain
In the first day
we visit one of the most impressive waterfalls
in the whole Thailand, Vachiratan
Waterfall. Then the road goes uphill to
the highest point of Thailand - top of Doi Inthanon
mountain (2576m). We pass Pra Mahatad Pagodas
where the view is the most impressive. Then we
have early dinner and relax, since we start the
next day early at 7:00.
Next day we take
a long walk along Natural Trail, which takes
several hours depending on the exact route. Doi
Inthanon has a unique ecosystem which cannot be
found anywhere else in Thailand. We will pass
evergreen forests and sub Alpine meadows,
especially beautiful in the morning. View Point
Kewmaeparn is situated on the very edge
of a dramatic abyss above clouds.
We also offer one

Golden Triangle
Loop
In the first day
we visit 500
years old Shan Chedi, situated right on
Burmese border. Then we take a steep unpaved
road trough Chiang
Dao National park, along Burmese
border. Although this part of the trip could be
a bit bumpy, we will get a chance to enjoy
fantastic views and observe authentic hilltribe
villages.
Then we visit Agricultural
Project Angkang and arrive to Fang, where
we stop for the night. It is a small city but
you will experience "back to civilization" feeling when we
finally get there.
Next day we
visit charming Princess
Mother Hall and arrive to Mae Sai, a
border city. Here you have a chance to cross the
border and visit Burmese city Thachilek (no visa required
for one day stay in Burma). We spend the
night back in Thailand in Mae Sai.
On the third
day we visit the famous Golden
Triangle, the point where borders of Thailand,
Laos and Burma meet. Here we take a boat to make
a small water trip along the great Mekong
River.
We visit Laos during this trip (since we visit
only a border area, you will not need a visa for
Laos). We also visit the famous Opium
Museum
that day, and then take a long ride along
Laotian border. We sleep at a remote resort near
Pu Chi Fa.
On the last
day of the trip we arrive at Pu
Chi Fa, an amazing rock hanging above Laos.
It is especially impressive in the morning, when
it is still foggy on the Laotian side.
We go straight
to Chiang Mai from here.

The
Grand Loop
In the
first day we visit Mokfa
Waterfall and arrive to Pai late afternoon. We
spend the first night here.
Next day we
visit Tham Lod
Cave. It is considered a very large
cave in Thailand, and a spectacular one. Then we
drive to Burmese border to enjoy great sunset in
the mountains, and stop for the second night.
The third day
is devoted to Lanna cave, also a large cave
in Thailand (it is actually the longest cave
here). There are several routes in the cave,
starting from short 2 hours walk to 14 hours
pass-through expedition. Our usual choice is 5
hour trip in the most fascinated part of the
cave, but you can choose another route if you
wish. We spend another night near the cave.
Next day we
visit a remote Chinese village Ban
Rak Thai near Burmese border and drive to Mae
Hong Son, the most remote city of Thailand. We
explore the city and surroundings, and stay here
for the night.
Next morning
we visit Karen village near Burmese border and
take a long drive to Doi
Inthanon. In the evening we visit one of the
most impressive waterfalls in the whole
Thailand, Vachiratan
Waterfall. Then we have early dinner
and relax, since we start the next day early at
